Reasonably priced truly educational toys and games
With the opening of its flagship location at 5380 North Mesa, at the corner of Mesa and Festival, 1 Smart Noodle brings a whole new approach to how we shop for educational toys and games.
1 Smart Noodle believes that you should not leave it to Hollywood Movies and TV to control or decide what toys and games your children desire. With just a small shift in focus this upstart toy retailer is putting control back in the hands of parents, grandparents and educators by refocusing the toy buying decision away form advertised plastic novelties and onto time tested tools like the age appropriateness of a toy or game.
The brain child of a veteran educator and her husband, a self styled advocate for the importance of fun in learning, 1 Smart Noodle sites the corner stone of its philosophical approach as the key ingredient under pinning the instant appeal the store has for all those that shop there.
1 Smart Noodle's founders believe that helping their customers choose an Age Appropriate educational toy or game is at the heart of the success they have had in recommending winning selections for their customers regardless of buying motivation. They can often be heard to say, "Although we consider every aspect of a customers reasons for shopping with us including whether the purchase is a birthday or holiday gift, a travel game to occupy the kids on a long trip, or something to support a developmental need, our fist consideration is always the age of the child who is the intended recipient of the purchase being considered."
One reason this simple methodology is so powerful, say the founders of 1 Smart Noodle, is that a child's age is an excellent proxy for their developmental level and developmentally appropriate toys and games are naturally attractive. Conversely, toys and games that are not developmentally appropriate would appear either boring if the developmental level was too low or confusing and frustrating if the level was too high. So, making a developmentally appropriate choice or using it's proxy and choosing an age appropriate toy or game gives you the ability to choose a true learning toy that will not only encourage the development of a child's innate abilities and foster the development of new skills, it will forever put an end to the overflowing toy chest filled with garage saleable novelties and make you look like to put a great deal of thought into your gift decisions (and you did). Further, switching focus to age appropriateness as the key factor in your toy buying decision should take your purse strings out of the hands of national advertising campaigns and place them back--squarely-- in your capable hands.
To see more of this New and Unique concept in a retail toy store, you are most cordially invited to come on out to 1 Smart Noodle, 5380 North Mesa Unit 106 at the corner of Mesa and Festival and please bring your kids! In keeping with its philosophy, the store has lots of hands on toys and games to try out. The owners are always available to recommend an age appropriate toy or game, to offer game instructions or suggest extension of play ideas to enhance the value of your selections. Regardless of your chronological age there is something for you at 1 Smart Noodle. Come out and experience the new way El Pasoans are shopping for educational toys and games.

Not only do my husband and I love this store but my kids do too. It's great to have an educational toy store. My 6 year old loves the games and gets to learn while playing... priceless.
